Mutual fund bech ke commission kamana hai to teen kadam hain — aur poora process 4–6 hafte mein ho sakta hai.

  1. NISM Series V-A exam pass karo. 100 sawaal, 2 ghante, pass mark 50%, koi negative marking nahi. Fee ~Rs. 1,500 (nism.ac.in par confirm karein). Yeh compulsory certification hai — bina iske distribution legal nahi.
  2. AMFI se ARN lo. Exam pass karne ke baad AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India) mein ARN — AMFI Registration Number — ke liye apply karo. KYD (Know Your Distributor) process bhi isi ke saath hota hai.
  3. AMCs ke saath empanel ho jao. ARN milne ke baad jin fund houses ke schemes bechne hain, unse empanelment karo. Phir har investment par upfront/trail commission milta hai.

Kitna kama sakte ho?

MFD income trail commission se banti hai — jitna AUM (client ka invested paisa) manage karoge, har saal uska ek hissa (typically 0.5–1%+ regular plans par) milta rahega. Yeh compounding business hai: pehle saal kam lagega, teesre saal se meaningful hota hai. FY25 mein ~30,000 naye MFDs bane — sabko yahi V-A exam dena pada.
