I'm Deepak Jha. I'm not an engineer and I don't pretend to be one. I'm an accounts guy from Maharashtra who spent a decade explaining debits and credits to students — and got tired of watching honest investors get sold bad funds. This is the real story.
The Journey
The Part People Don't Believe
Not one. No computer science degree, no bootcamp, no weekend Python course. I'm from a commerce background, and until recently that would have meant this platform could never exist.
It exists because the tools changed. I build BullWiser by directing AI — the way a chartered accountant directs a junior: here's what I need, here's how the calculation must work, here's what's wrong with your draft, redo it. The AI writes the code. I decide what gets built, how the numbers must be treated, and what honest looks like.
Eighteen years with financial numbers. An auditor's suspicion of every figure. A teacher's obsession with making things understandable. A decade of my own money in the market. The judgment about what a fund score should actually measure.
The code. Every page, every calculator, every chart on this site was written by AI under my direction — reviewed, tested and corrected against my numbers until it behaved exactly the way an accountant demands.
Why BullWiser Exists
Ask about any mutual fund and you'll get five answers: one YouTuber says buy, another says exit, your distributor recommends whatever pays him best, and every ranking site scores the same fund differently. That confusion isn't an accident — it's profitable for almost everyone except you.
BullWiser is one place with one rule: the score is computed from data, explained in full, and nobody can pay to change it. No AMC money, no distributor commissions, no sponsored rankings. Direct plans over regular plans, always, because the math says so.

Bootstrapped So Far — Open to More
BullWiser has been built with no VC money, no angels, no accelerator — one feature at a time, funded by my own savings and its own early revenue. That kept it honest while it found its shape.
I'm now open to conversations with investors who understand what this is: a trust-first financial platform for the next hundred million Indian investors — not a growth-at-any-cost app. If that's your kind of bet, or if you're a builder, researcher, writer or educator who wants in — my inbox is open and I read everything myself.

BullWiser is what happens when one person has spent years being all three.
